Stage 17, July 22: Digne-les-Bains – Pra Loup, 161 km

The final act of 2015 Tour begins today as the race tackles the first of four intimidating stages in the Alps, containing a total of eighteen categorized climbs.

Stage 17 features five of those climbs, with an emphasis on the first-category penultimate Col d’Allos and its descent to the foot of the final climb to Pra Loup.

Km 40: Col des Lèques (3rd-cat., 6 km at 5.3% avg.)

Km 67: Col de Toutes Aures (3rd-cat., 6.1 km at 3.1% avg.)

Km 80.5: Feed zone

Km 96: col de la Colle (2nd-cat., 11 km at 5.2% avg.)

Km 111: Intermediate sprint at Beauvezer

Km 139: Col d’Allos (1st-cat., 14 km at 5.5% avg.)

Km 161 (finish): Pra Loup (2nd-cat., 6.2 km at 6.5% avg.)
