Stage 6, August 24: Vila-real – Sagunt, 204.4 km

Start: 12:26
Finish: 17:25-17:57

Stage 6 is a rompepiernas, a day of constant climbs.

Two points along the route will demand attentiveness from the riders. There is an unlit tunnel of 150 meters on a descent and lefthand curve at Km 52, 2.5 km before the climb of the Puerto de Eslida. At 700 meters before the finish a roundabout is followed immediately by a hard left turn.

Climbs:

Km 48.0 – Alto de Alcudia de Veo: 3rd cat., 11 km at 3.4% avg.

Km 59.8 – Puerto de Eslida: 3rd cat., 5.3 km at 5.1% avg.

Km 96.6 – Alto de Chirivilla: 3rd cat., 7.9 km at 4.1% avg.

Km 142.8 – Puerto del Oronet: 3rd cat., 6.4 km at 4% avg.

Km 168.0 – Puerto del Garbí: 2nd cat., 9.3 km at 5.1% avg.
